Meet Rachel...

Hi, I’m Rachel, founder of Maytown Therapies.

I’m a registered osteopath and homeopath, working with babies, children and adults, with a particular focus on paediatric care, women’s health and fertility.

I trained as an osteopath at the University College of Osteopathy (UCO) in London, completing a four-year full-time Master’s degree, and qualified in 2018. Since then, I’ve continued to build on that foundation with further training, including a 2 year postgraduate qualification in paediatric osteopathy.

I’ve worked in a busy multidisciplinary clinic since graduating, gaining experience treating people across all ages and stages of life. I now bring that experience into my own clinic, offering care that’s thoughtful, individual and unrushed.

I’m also a mum of three. That has deepened both my interest in and understanding of babies and children, and given me a very real appreciation of how worrying it can feel when your baby seems uncomfortable or unsettled — especially when you don’t feel fully heard.

Homeopathy and Women’s Health

My journey into homeopathy began on a personal level, following my own experiences with miscarriage. When conventional options didn’t give me the answers I was looking for, homeopathy opened up a different way of understanding healing and how the body responds to gentle, individual support.

What I value most about homeopathy is that it looks at the whole picture. Rather than focusing on one symptom or one hormone, it considers your cycle, your history, your emotional wellbeing and how your body has adapted over time.

I completed the Rmdy Academy's advanced training in homeopathy with a focus on women’s health and fertility, and this is now a central part of my work. I primarily use homeopathy with women, particularly around hormonal imbalance, cycle issues and fertility, and occasionally with children where appropriate. I’ll always take time to explain the approach clearly so you can decide whether it feels right for you.

Further Training

Alongside osteopathy and homeopathy, I’ve also completed additional training in acupuncture for practitioners. I continue to regularly update my skills through ongoing osteopathic and homeopathic education, as learning and refining my approach is something I value greatly.

What Matters to Me

I’m honest, straightforward and calm in how I work. I listen carefully and never dismiss a concern — whether you’re coming in for your baby, your child or yourself.

My aim is that you leave feeling reassured, clearer about what’s going on, and confident about the next steps. I never want a parent or patient to leave feeling unsure or alone with their worries.
